I made this poster in September when Bob Aufuldish {aufwar.com} came to speak at CalArts. I love his book designs, so I used two 11 x 17 posters hanging together to reference the spread of a book. I was also inspired by his typeface and dingbat designs, so I used them as my main source of material and imagery. Finally, CalArts has a lot of floor to ceiling windows which I decided to take advantage of by making the posters double-sided and on thinner paper.
