Worked on a variety of artist and architecture books at this L.A.-based design firm. Responsibilities included designing initial layouts and typography for books and brochures, designing logos, expanding design systems across large books, managing content for large books, editing photographs, and producing mock-ups for clients.

Participated in leading a weekly movement class with a group of USF dance students at a local nursing home. Responsibilities included leading movement exercises and working one-on-one with adults, aiding and encouraging them to participate in exercises, improvisations, and creating choreography.

Assisted a dance instructor in teaching 20 elementary- and middle-school-aged students in
a weekly dance class. Primary responsibility was leading groups of 6–7 students in rehearsals for their end of year performance.

TOPS at Seward, K–8 Alternative Public School / Seattle, WA
Taught 12 middle-school-aged students in a weekly after school hip hop class. Included leading the students through an hour-long class, creating and teaching choreography, encouraging students to choreograph their own phrases, and organizing a performance
at the end of the semester.
Program Volunteer / Sept 2001 – May 2005
Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center / Woodinville, WA
Worked as a Side Walker at a weekly 2-hour horseback riding class for mentally and physically disabled children. Responsibilities included building relationships with students who were often shy and/or had difficulty communicating, walking alongside riders helping them follow the teacher's instructions, and taking care of horses before and after class.
